Hi everyone!
Did you know that as a Seneca Polytechnic student, you can use the entire Adobe Creative Cloud for free? This includes professional tools like Acrobat Reader (PDF), Photoshop, Illustrator,Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc
To be honest, I was hesitating to install it at first because the process looked very complicated. As an international student, I found that clear information was surprisingly hard to find online. I went through some trial and error myself, so I am sharing this step-by-step guide to save you a headache!
The most important part is using the correct account type. If you follow these instructions carefully, it will work:
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Visit the Adobe Website: Go to creativecloud.adobe.com.

Sign in: Click Sign In button on the right top corner.
Enter Your Seneca Email: You must use your username@myseneca.ca address.
Select the Account Type (Critical Step!): When the prompt appears, always choose “Company or School Account.” Do not select “Personal Account,” or it will ask you to pay.

Seneca Login: You will be redirected to the Seneca login page. Enter your MySeneca credentials and finish the MFA (Microsoft Authenticator) if it asks.
Select a profile to sign in: Choose Seneca Polytechnic Student Console

Download Creative Cloud Desktop: Once you are logged in, download the “Creative Cloud Desktop” app first. This app is like a hub where you can install all other Adobe products.

Pro Tip: If you see a "Buy Now" or "Trial" button instead of "Install," it usually means you are logged into a personal profile.

Troubleshooting: What if it still says “Install Trial”?
If you don’t see the free “Install” button, don’t worry. I discovered these “expert” steps through my own trial and error:
Log out completely: Sign out of both the Adobe website and the Desktop app.
Restart the Login Process: Enter your email again.
Choose the Right Profile: After selecting “Company or School Account,” make sure you pick the profile associated with Seneca Polytechnic or Student.
Check Program Eligibility: Most full-time students have access, but sometimes it depends on your specific program.
I hope this helps you get started with your creative projects!
